Instructions for Using Alpha Pager

This service works only with Pagers on the Arbuckle Paging Network.

1)  Click here to Send A Page.

2) When you get this window:

    You can either Run This Program From Its Current Location, or Save This Program To Disk.  If you only use the program every once in a while, then you may want to run the program from its current location.  If you plan on using the program quite frequently, then you may want to save the program on to your computer.  This option is entirely up to you.

3)  After you have selected your option, and hit OK, the program will download what it needs to run.  You may also get an authenticode warning window.  Just click Yes on that.

4)  Now you should have the CommOne SNPP program open.  The window will look like this:

    Once here, just click on the Configure button in the lower right hand corner.  Now you should have a screen that looks like this:

    In the Server IP Address box, you need to type in xpage.net.  If it is already in there, then just hit OK at the bottom.

5)  Now that you have configured the paging program, you are now ready to send your page. 
        Back on the CommOne SNPP program window:

    To send a page, the first thing you have to do is enter the Pager Number.  This number needs to be entered in this format: xxxyyyzzzz (where 'x' is the area code, 'y' is the prefix, and 'z' is the number.  For example, the pager number can be 5802210123.  In the Message box is where you type in your message.  Once you have that all entered, just click the Send button, and the page should be sent.
